A Quick View of the Chakra System for your selection process:
The Root Chakra — Red. Located at the base of the spine, this is where our sense of security in the external world resides; fight and flight and the beliefs we learned from our family of origin.
The Sacral Chakra — Orange. Located just below the navel, this is our sexual and creativity center and also where the power in our relationships lives; where we feel competitive or equal to the people in our lives.
The Solar Plexus — Yellow. Located in the stomach, this is our power center, where the power we exercise in our life resides. This continues from the power in our personal relationships and further goes into how we express and experience power in all areas of our lives.
The Heart Chakra — Green. Located in the heart, this is the bridge between our external world (the first three Chakras) and our internal world (the top three Chakras). Here we experience love, joy, harmony, and when out of balance we experience broken hearts and disharmony. Compassion and forgiveness are cultivated here.
The Throat Chakra —Sky Blue. This is in our throat and is where we communicate who we are to the world; where our will power and our ability to hear God, angels, masters and guides resides.
The Third Eye — Indigo. Located between and slightly above our eyebrows, our ability to envision our lives and psychic ability is here. Also stored here are knowledge and intuition.
The Crown Chakra — Violet. At the Crown of the head is this violet energy center. This is where our connection to the Divine comes through and flows to the rest of our Chakras. It is the entrance of intuitive idea and prophetic wisdom that we are all capable of receiving.
